Wood is widely used as packaging material within warehouses. It is highly likely this wood has been imported from a foreign country or will be exported out of the country.
The International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures No 15 (ISPM15) was established by the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) to help stop the spread of disease and insects in wood packaging materials.
Manufacturers of wood packaging for export must meet the ISPM15 standard which is proved by the display of the ISPM15 Stamp as shown in Figure 3.

If an organisation uses ISPM15 compliant wood packaging for export, it must also ensure that it meets the requirements of the country of destination.
