The demands facing an apprentice may be different depending at which stage of their career they are at. For those just starting out they can be getting to grips with the workplace and how to adapt their lifestyle to the world of work. If they are a junior member of staff, they might also have to do a number of different support roles across a small business, all of which they’re unfamiliar with. On occasion, apprentices can be a resource for senior staff across a business and as such, not be sure who to support first, or who they should be listening to the most!
