What to expect
The online learning provided on the Hub will contain material that supports the achievement of the learning outcomes, and will be in the form of information, quizzes, videos and links to external websites. This information complements your workbook.
The material on the hub is divided into sections which are further divided into individual topics.
As you work through each section and complete the topics you mark them as complete (big button, can’t miss it). By marking as complete this allows you to see your progress very clearly on the progress bar on the navigation pane, and the lessons and topics completed will be highlighted and this means you can clearly see where you are up to on the Hub (just like a bookmark).
Workbook
You will receive a hard copy of the Kaplan Combined Text and Workbook, which contains material and activities covering the content required for this unit. The activities are there to help you with your learning, along with the progress checks.
Unit Structure
This unit is workbook and Hub based, and also contains a computer based test which you must pass. You must complete all of your section reviews before attempting the computer based test.
Computer Based Test
You will be assessed by a computer based project and will be required to respond to tasks in a variety of ways, for example using multiple choice, true/false, drag and drop, drop down lists, text select, linking boxes, gap fill tools and AAT purpose built questions types to reflect real workplace activities.
