Using Microsoft Excel, the user can choose to show the results of any functions and formulas, or the formulas themselves. This is an excellent way to check formulas.
Below is an example of a worksheet containing functions and formulas.

By clicking on the Formulas tab across the top of the screen and selecting the Show Formulas button, all relevant cells will be changed on the screen to show the functions and formulas contained within them.

The spreadsheet above would display as follows once this had been selected:

To return the spreadsheet to its original format, select the Show Formulas button again.
The spreadsheet can be printed in either format.
