Due to data protection issues, unethical behaviour and data theft, it is necessary for systems to protect company confidentiality. Therefore, the following security measures must be incorporated into the ICT systems involved in E-Logistics:
- Information protection by using passwords and encryption.
- Use of ICT by data protection against hackers and viruses, by using firewalls and health and safety protection of the hard drive.
- Disaster Recovery planning by backing up all systems on a regular basis.
