Bar Chart
This is the most commonly used chart. It can be applied to data that is arranged in columns or rows on a worksheet.
In the worksheet below, there are six months’ worth of sales data. The data has been presented as horizontal bar chart showing how the value of sales has changed over the period of six months. This is a bar chart in its simplest form.
With two sets of data, sales in the UK and in the EU, the values can be shown side by side.
