Server availability is high and more reliable with minimal chances of infrastructure failure.
- High scalability
The “Cloud” enables servicing of business requirements for larger audiences by adding more resources when necessary.
- Agility
The “Cloud” shares resources between users and tasks while enhancing efficiency and agility (responsiveness).
- Multi-sharing
By sharing a common infrastructure, multiple applications and users can work more efficiently.
- Services in the pay-per-use mode
SLAs between the provider and the user must be defined when offering services with a pay per use model. This would be based on the complexity of the services provided.
- Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
By using APIs, users can access services on the cloud.
- Support for all service-oriented applications
