Cloud Computing today is the genesis of “network-based computing”. This technology is the enabling element of new computing models. These new models will produce new generations of applications for business. It is the beginning of the end for desktop computing and the foundation of a new Internet-based service economy: Web-based, on demand, Internet-centric, “Cloud” applications and computing economy.
