Front End and Back End are two categories of “Cloud” computing architecture. “Front End” could be a web browser, client or an application such as a web browser utilising a “Cloud” service. The “Back End” would be a network, server, or other information storage system.
The “Cloud” contains infinite storage capacity for any available software. The Cloud operates with a centralised server administration system which monitors traffic, balances client supply, adjusts demands; avoiding congestion. The server follows protocols, known as middleware. Middleware controls the communication of a cloud network. “Cloud Architecture” runs on the assumption that the demand for resources is not always consistent, and because of this, cloud servers are unable to run at full capacity. To negate this, server virtualisation techniques are adopted, whereby all physical servers are virtualised and run multiple servers with diverse applications.
Data is an essential part of cloud computing, and data security is a priority in all procedures of the cloud, and information is backed up at multiple locations.
