The Supply Chain involves the movement of materials, information and finance as they flow from their original source through to their final destination; the end customer.
The chain is made up of all of the parties that are involved, be it directly or indirectly, in the fulfilment of customer requests or requirements.
It needs to be flexible so that it can adapt to ever changing needs as well as being completely aligned so that the interests of the lead company are the same as all the other companies within the supply chain.
